Either time. edited a series of children’s books and wrote for Single-Parent Family, Charisma and the Mennonite Brethren Herald. made us promise to play Louie, Louie on the pipe organ at her funeral. fell in love with dozens of toddlers in a Philippine orphanage. was the first female Frito-Lay truck driver in Washington state. worked for five years as Managing Editor of University of the Nation’s Transformations magazine in Kona, HI. cleaned wounds and changed bandages on lepers in Macau. puts down her mascara when approaching busy intersections or dangerous curves. lost one child to cancer, one to miscarriage and one to a California bride. to her great surprise and delight, married a great guy named Larry in 2010 and moved to Spokane, WA. has a heart for single moms and a book to help them. |
